DEWALT Warranty Policy

DEWALT 2-YEAR WARRANTY- INDIA

Power tools are warranted for 2 Year from the date of purchase.  

If the tool becomes defective due to faulty materials and/or workmanship, within the warranty period, DEWALT will undertake to correct the defect without charge. Please return the complete unit, to any local DEWALT Service Center with valid DEWALT warranty card and proof of purchase (Invoice or receipt copy).  

In the event of failure within warranty period due to manufacturing or material defect, we will undertake free of charge (FOC) repair including labour charges, provided we are satisfied that,  

• The power tool has not been tampered with or any unauthorized repair carried out.
• The power tool has been used on the designed / intended application.
• The power tool has been used on the standard 220V 50Hz power supply.
• The power tool has not been physically damaged.  

This warranty DOES NOT APPLY TO:  

• Overload, willful damage, claim arising from the loss, fire or other calamities occurred by nature.
• All wear & tear parts like carbon brush, commutator, grease, O-rings, mechanical parts, plastic parts, or any part which is consumable in nature are not covered under warranty
• Heating element, external accessory does not cover under warranty.
• Break down due to usage of ingenuine spare parts and tampering with tool
• Attachments and accessories
• Unauthorized repair, alteration/modification
• Damage caused by foreign objects, substances, accidents, obvious misuse, abuse, neglect and improper applications  

Batteries and Charger Warranty:  

• Battery and chargers Purchased along with the tool kitting provided by Company will also be covered under 2 years of warranty as one time replacement/ Repair whichever is applicable.
• Batteries and chargers purchased as spare or separately will have only 6 months of Warranty coverage as one time replacement/ Repair whichever is applicable.
