DEWALT Power Tools come with a 2-Year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase, giving you added assurance in the quality and reliability of your tool.
If your DEWALT power tool is found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship during the warranty period, DEWALT will provide One (1) free repair during the warranty tenure, including labor charges, subject to the terms and conditions below.
To make a warranty claim, simply return the complete tool to an Authorized DEWALT Service Center along with:
- A valid DEWALT Warranty Card, and
- Proof of Purchase (invoice or receipt copy).
What’s Covered
The warranty covers manufacturing defects related to:
- Faulty materials
- Workmanship
Warranty Eligibility
To qualify for warranty service, the tool must:
- have been used only for its intended purpose
- not have been tampered with or repaired by unauthorized parties
- not be physically damaged due to misuse, abuse, or neglect
- have been operated on standard 220V / 50Hz power supply, where applicable
What’s Not Covered
The limited warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear
- consumable parts such as carbon brushes, commutators, grease, O-rings, mechanical parts, plastic parts, and similar items
- attachments and accessories
- heating elements
- damage caused by overload, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, foreign objects, or improper application
- damage resulting from non-genuine spare parts
- unauthorized repair, alteration, or modification
- loss, fire, or natural calamities
Battery and Charger Coverage
- Batteries and chargers included with the original tool kit are covered under the same 2-Year Limited Warranty, limited to one-time repair or replacement, as applicable.
- Batteries and chargers purchased separately are covered by a 6-month limited warranty, limited to one-time repair or replacement, as applicable.
